I was struck with amazement at what you wrote in your article "God is About to Breathe on His Promises Over Our Lives". My heart's desire is to truly serve God with all my heart, soul, mind and strength and to serve others and show God's gracious love to others.
I just had to let you know what a word in season your article that featured on The Elijah List has been for me.
On Sunday I was having a rare, but real, spiritual "hissy fit" - basically just feeling frustrated because I had done all I knew to do and had not yet seen the results I wanted. Immature, for sure, but I've found that when I bring the bad stuff to God and ask for insight, He always provides just the help I need. When I asked God for comfort and encouragement to get through the difficult moment and back to my normal self I felt lead to jump on line and check out The Elijah List.
As I read your article the feelings of failure and isolation just melted away and I came away stronger and more determined to just hang in there and keep trusting God...

As much as there have been a number of occasions where I have felt compelled to write to some one regarding something said or written, I have rarely followed it through. However, your article - 'Open Heavens' - The Time is Now, (ENHANCE Feb,Mar,Apr 2006), struck a chord.
"I am sure you can remember the sacrifices that no one else knew you made.... the times you were faithful to believe God.... even when you suffered pain in your body...."
"The Lord wants you to know that ALL THE SEED you have sown into the soil of His Kingdom is being watered and prepared for harvest.... "
Amanda, I have taken the "pain" that you have referred to quite literally. I have... For me, the words that I have quoted from your article are both profound and prophetic... Reading your words, once again reinforced not that it is God's will for me to suffer, but that all things work together for good, even if I don't see that "good" outcome in my lifetime. I have been a Christian all my life, so there is little that I haven't heard. Having said that, even that which is familiar can be revealed in such a way that brings hope and almost relief into times of struggle.

Recently, my mother forwarded me one of your articles you recently wrote about being under open heavens... I had read it the other day, and then just felt prompted to read it again just now.
As I was reading it just now, immediately my heavenly Father, through His precious Holy Spirit just began pouring out fresh revelation, imparting fresh "manna" to my spirit - and I just had to say thank you personally, for writing this article, for sharing your heart with us through this writing.
It is completely amazing... as I read what you wrote, my mouth just drops open...for every single line you wrote, I could have easily written myself! For truly, you expressed the deepest thoughts/prayers/desires/hungers of my heart, of my very life! Line by line, scripture by scripture, heart-cry by heart-cry - I was just in awe as I read it. Not just in awe, but full of gratitude - for when I read these kinds of things, it encourages me to know that there indeed are countless others' out there who are truly crying out for my Father's glory to quickly come and cover the earth! I truly felt I was reading the words of another 'kindred' heart... and I just wanted to say how excited it has made me, how it has encouraged me, how it has spurned me to continue crying out for HIS GLORY!!
